Founded in 1998 by Dr. Robert Zubrin and a group of passionate space enthusiasts, The Mars Society is a non-profit organization focused on pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the Red Planet. Our mission includes raising public awareness, influencing government policy, and conducting practical research through analog missions and engineering design competitions.
Our Projects

- Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station (FMARS): Built on Devon Island in the Canadian Arctic, offering extreme environment simulations.
- International Mars Society Convention: An annual event bringing together experts, scientists, engineers, and enthusiasts from all over the world.
- MarsVR: A virtual reality training environment to simulate Mars surface operations.
